Sample Letter to Governor Schwarzenegger

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
State Capitol Building
Sacramento, CA 95814

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:

I am an avid user/supporter of San Onofre State Beach. I am concerned that the Foothill-South Toll Road will devastate this unique park unit and rob me and others of a rare opportunity to camp, explore, and play in a natural coastal setting in Southern California.

The toll road and its urban sprawl will damage San Mateo Creek, one of Southern California's last wild streams, and pollute the beach at Trestles, one of the finest remaining natural surf breaks in the world.

Please defend the integrity of California's magnificent state park system. Please support coastal California and its visitors by helping us keep the Foothill-South Toll Road out of our cherished state park.

Sincerely,
